Road Vehicle Certification System
http://rvcs-prodweb.dot.gov.au/RVCS allows vehicle manufacturers to electronically certify that the vehicles that they supply to the Australian market meet prescribed safety standards specified in the Australian Design Rules (ADRs). The system allows lodgement of test data using electronic forms software and is administered by the Vehicle Safety Standards Branch (VSS).
Australian Transport Safety Bureau

The bureau is an operationally independent multi- modal body as it has to independently investigate, analyse and report on transport safety. It maintains a clear organisational separation from transport regulators and other parties that may be investigated, and operates within a defined legal framework within the Commonwealth Department of Transport and Regional Services (DOTARS).
